What to Expect From Netflix’s Third Season of Dead to Me
Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, following in the footsteps of the previous season. Jen and Judy are in a car accident just before the screen goes black, but this isn’t a coincidence. It’s similar to the situation in which Jen and Judy meet as a result of Jen’s husband’s death in a hit-and-run accident, the details of which Jen is unaware. However, in the season 2 conclusion, fans are left wondering if Jen is truly alive after this disaster.

We’d expect season three to follow the same pattern as season one and pick up right where we left off, with Jen and Judy again in a big mess and Ben desperately trying to dump his car and pretend he was somewhere else. Then there’s Steve’s dead body, which won’t be hidden for long since we last saw a dog digging it up in the forest. Marsden told TV Guide, “I think this guy does try to look at himself in the mirror when no one else is around and do the right thing.” “But the forces can sometimes be too much. I think they are starting to add up for him, and if we go there in season three, it would be interesting to learn more about that.”
On top of that, Jen’s son Charlie found the letter his mother wrote to Judy to explain why she had turned herself into the police. Now he also knows what’s going on.

There’s no doubt that Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini will come back to play Jen and Judy again. At the end of the day, this story is about the strong bond between the two women. Also, even though Steve is dead, they are not out of trouble just yet (James Marsden).
Speaking of James Marsden, the good-looking actor will also play Steve in flashbacks and Steve’s twin brother Ben in the present.
