Luke Grimes, star of Yellowstone, is soon to become a father!
On Sunday, August 4, Bianca Rodrigues, the 40-year-old actor’s wife, revealed her pregnancy on Instagram. This is her first kid.
In an image that she shared, Rodrigues’ growing bulge was clearly seen as she reflected in a glass door. The Brazilian model wrote, “Can’t wait to meet you little one,” as the description for the picture.
On the popular Paramount Network series, Grimes portrays Kayce Dutton, the son of Kevin Costner’s John Dutton III. The couple was married in November 2018 and now calls Montana home.
Rodrigues frequently shares pictures of the two of them on trips together, while Grimes, who is also a musician, also publishes pictures showcasing his musical career on Instagram. She disclosed on March 27 that the two were traveling together while wearing jumpers and hooded jackets. “Side by side,” she wrote as the carousel’s caption on Instagram.
Grimes has had a busy year. On Sunday, November 10 at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount Network and Paramount+ for Canadian audiences, Yellowstone will return with new episodes. November 11th, Monday, is when it will impact the U.K. Later that month, it will hit Latin America, Brazil, and France.
Grimes has persisted in advancing his musical career as well. Grimes shared the news on Instagram in April after releasing a live rendition of one of the songs he and his band do. “Selected to release a live recording of a song we cover. For all of us 90s youngsters like myself, this one is for you. I hope you like playing it as much as we do. :)” he wrote.
In April, he also performed at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California.
In reality, the pastor’s son Grimes was a country band drummer before he found fame on Yellowstone. In 2022, he revealed to Rolling Stone that he was raised in a home free from a lot of music.
He told the publication, “I hate this word, but as a kid, the ‘secular’ music that I was allowed to listen to was Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Cash.” My dad was raised on that in the Appalachian Mountains. He was performing that kind of folk and country-rock when he wasn’t required to be a preacher.
Grimes also starred in the Netflix original movie Happiness for Beginners, which came out in 2023.
In the film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006), he played Jake in his debut role. In 2009 and 2010, he made his TV debut as Ryan Lafferty on Brothers & Sisters. Among his more notable cinematic roles are those in American Sniper and the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise as Elliott Grey.
