Christina Hall is spending some quality time with her closest friends and family.
Christina, 41, went on a girls’ trip with her pals Robyn Purpero and Stacy Evatt, and on Sunday, August 4, she shared pictures from their little getaway on Instagram Stories.
The Christina on the Coast star, who filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Josh Hall, on July 7, shared a number of images and videos on social media, one of which showed her sprawled out on the ground in an opulent mansion.
“When it’s been a really good last night,” Christina wrote as the caption for the photo, which features her smiling while her two friends appear to be dancing next to her.
A second Instagram Story featured a video of a sky that was pitch-black with lightning striking the atmosphere. Christina captioned the photo with the phrase “Southern storms,” implying that the party might have decided to spend the weekend exploring somewhere in the south.
A previous Instagram Story from Saturday, August 3, included a picture of an opulent white mansion surrounded by immaculate grounds. Christina said, “How dreamy is this?” in the description before tagging her friends.
Another Saturday post showed the friends grinning at the camera as they stood together on a terrace. Christina commented, “Much needed girls trip,” before mentioning her birthday, which is July 9. “41 is really fantastic.”
Josh, 43, recently revealed that he and his partner are still divorcing. This coincides with the girls’ trip.
“I choose seclusion, particularly during a life-altering event like a divorce I did not request,” Josh posted on Instagram on Friday, August 2, beside a picture of his dog. “I won’t openly disparage anyone because everyone has loved and respected families, friends, and other people. Regretfully, the internet never goes away.
The message went on, “We are actual people living our lives, and I’m not here to amuse strangers by discussing personal stuff. We will fairly handle such details behind closed doors with our separate counsels when the time comes. Everyone who knows us is aware of who we are.
On July 8, Josh, who costarred with Christina on the HGTV program The Flip Off, submitted his own divorce petition.
On Saturday, August 3, an exclusive insider informed Us Weekly that Josh and Christina “haven’t even started negotiations” for a divorce.
Josh is requesting an equitable distribution of their assets, which includes their joint Newport Beach home and the rights to all of Christina’s HGTV shows, according to court documents. (The couple did not execute a prenuptial agreement prior to their 2022 wedding.)
Christina stated on social media at the end of July that she had no intention of dividing her personal belongings evenly.
“I’ve put in a tremendous amount of effort to create this life for myself and my children, and anyone who tries to take what they haven’t earned should be ashamed,” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “An insecure man with a big ego might try to throw you off course, but ‘still I rise.'”
