Where is Jesus Now? Complete Information

As God, Jesus is everywhere at the same time. He is all over. So, in a way, Jesus is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. But Jesus is not only fully God, so he is everywhere at the same time, but he is also fully human.

Jesus is fully human, so he has a fully human body. That body, we’re told, went to heaven and is sitting at God’s right hand right now. There is where Jesus, as God, is present everywhere. It is everywhere.

Where is Jesus Now?

In heaven, as well as on earth, Jesus sits at God’s right hand. One could say that he is physically present in heaven, but that he is also present in the hearts of all believers. Where, then, is Jesus at this time? Physically, he occupies a throne in heaven.

As God, he is everywhere at once. Furthermore, his presence is most noticeable in those who have placed their faith in Christ.

Jesus is in All Places

As God, Jesus is everywhere at once. He is all over. Jesus is in every place. That is what it means for Jesus to be everywhere as God. He is omnipresent.

Jesus is in Heaven

But Jesus is not only completely God, which means he is everywhere, but he is also completely human. Jesus is fully human, so he has a human body. That body, we’re told, went to heaven and is sitting at God’s right hand right now.

Jesus is With Those Who Believe

Jesus is seated at God’s right hand as a full-body human, but Christians are told that the spirit of Christ lives in each one of them. He’s inside us. “Whoever is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him,” says 1 Corinthians 6:17. We are where the Holy Spirit lives. As Christians, He lives in us in a special way.

In 1 Corinthians 6:19, the Bible says that Christians are the temples of the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ: “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and whom you have received from God? You don’t belong to you.”

Where is Jesus Now

This is a little bit turned around in Ephesians, which is interesting. Even though our bodies are on earth right now, Ephesians 2:6 says that in Christ Jesus, we are sitting in the heavenly places.

Spiritually, I am joined to Christ in heaven by my faith. Right now, I am one with Christ in heaven, even though I am here. Physically, Jesus is in heaven right now, but spiritually, he is in me right now.

Why Did Jesus Go to Heaven?

In John 16, Jesus tells the disciples that the arrival of the Holy Spirit will be a boon to the church even though His departure will be painful. Jesus says the Holy Spirit will come and convict the world of sin, judgement, and righteousness; He will also instruct, lead, and empower the church in its pursuit of truth (John 16:7-9). Jesus went to heaven to make a home there for every believer (John 14:2-3).

If we have put our faith in Jesus Christ, we know that when we die, we will be welcomed into heaven and that our Savior has already prepared a place for us there.

Jesus ascended to heaven so that He might keep mediating between God and humanity. It is clear from Romans 8:34 that He is currently on our behalf, making intercession. Which begs the question, “Who is to judge? Jesus Christ, who died and was raised to life again, is seated at the right hand of God and is truly interceding on our behalf.

Because Christ died for your sins, He has the power over death, He has ascended to the highest honour, and He now intercedes for you before God. We give thanks to God that Jesus is in the best possible place, and that He has sent the Holy Spirit to teach, empower, and protect us until we can be united with Jesus in heaven.

Jesus Christ Hears and Answers Our Prayers

“A friend sticks closer than a brother,” says Proverbs 18:24, and Jesus Christ is “stuck on you.”

He is both our older brother and our friend. He is someone we can trust because he knows all of our weaknesses and is “touched by the feeling of our infirmities” (Heb. 4:15). We can tell him anything and know that he understands us completely and will be there to comfort and strengthen us.

As Our Mediator, Jesus Christ is Making Prayers for Us

Entugchano means “to pray” or “to make a request.” This is such a comforting truth. Jesus Christ remembers you even if no one else does, and he is praying for you. According to 1 Timothy 2:5, the Lord Jesus is “The Man,” the only one who talks to God on our behalf. He does this by interceding for us.
