Is Draya Michele Expecting Her Second Son ?
Her rep exclusively confirms to PEOPLE that the actress and entrepreneur is expecting her second child with her fiance, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick.
I dunno what possessed me to take a home pregnancy test, but I did, and I did it twice! 30 year old Michele reveals to PEOPLE. It was an immediate thrill to hear two good responses.
Michele, who is already the mother to son Kniko, now 13 years old, is expecting another son in late April. Scandrick, at age 28, is already a father to 6-year-old Taylor and Tatiana, his twin daughters.
“We scheduled a 16-week consultation to find out the sex of the baby, but surprise, our doctor was able to see that he was a boy at 12 weeks,” she says. When I had my first child 13 years ago, ultrasound technology was not nearly as advanced as it is now.
Michele joked that the new baby’s arrival in the spring would cause a bit of a stir, despite the fact that she has already raised a son.
We’re expecting a Taurus, she explains. We already have four Aquarians and one Capricorn (nearly Aquarius), therefore he’ll be the first Taurus in our family!
The expectant mother had a brief period of morning sickness at the beginning of her pregnancy, but is now in her second trimester and “feeling terrific” as she gets ready for the new addition to the family.
To maintain her slim figure, she says, “I wasn’t sick for more than three weeks and I’ve been dieting and keeping up with cardio.” Since I am still employed full-time, I find that naptime is particularly relaxing.

Michele’s “clever” teenage son began to suspect anything was wrong with his mother’s health after she had been feeling ill for only a few weeks. However, Kniko’s enthusiasm went over the roof as he learned that a new baby sibling was on the way.
I had to pull myself together and tell him. Because of how badly Michele felt about withholding the news from her boyfriend, she made him one of the first people she told. He can’t wait to teach his little brother how to play soccer now that he’s a big brother.
The former Basketball Wives star, who is about to reach her third trimester, is not slowing down for pregnancy.
Michele continues, “I have a few movie premieres and a TV programme, and I plan to work on the 2016 summer collection of Mint Swim.” I’m a hardworking woman who finds that having her baby belly with her at the office helps her get through the day.
