Here’s all the information you need about Season 3 of See.
A science fiction drama on Apple TV+ that takes place in a post-apocalyptic dystopia where people have lost their ability to see is back for its third and final season. The first season started on the OTT platform on November 1, 2019, and the second season started two years later, on August 27, 2021.
We don’t have to wait another two years for the next season, which is good.
What Is See Season 3 About?
See started in the early 21st century, when people learn about a deadly virus that killed a huge number of people. Because of this, less than two million people made it out alive, but they had to pay for it. The remaining survivors and their distant descendants have both lost their ability to see.
A couple of hundred years later, society has gotten used to their blindness and taught them new ways to be useful members of their communities. People have learned how to build homes, hunt for food, and interact with each other even though they can’t see. But the idea of vision turns into a myth, and just bringing it up is seen as heresy.
Most of the show is about Baba Voss (Momoa), the fearless chief of the Alkenny Tribe who has the blood of a real warrior. One day, his mountain tribe is in for a surprise when Maghra Kane (Hilmar), who is pregnant, comes to the Alkenny for help. Baba Voss can’t have children, so he marries Maghra and takes her children as his own. The children’s biological children, Jerlamarel (Joshua Henry), are on the run from Queen Sibeth Kane (Sylvia Hoeks), the ruler of the Payan kingdom.
The Queen is cruel and will kill anyone who spreads the heresy that you can be seen. As soon as people hear about Jerlamarel and his children, there is a huge witch hunt to find them. Baba Voss is responsible for keeping his tribe and family safe from the Queen’s army. In the second season of See, Baba Voss faces off against his younger brother Edo Voss, played by Bautista, who wants to get back at Baba. Edo is the Commander General of the Trivantian army, which is the army of Payan’s rival kingdom.
