Sonny is transported to the hospital to undergo the surgical procedure necessary to replace it. In order to exact his revenge, he orders Gino and Arliss, two of his bodyguards, to eliminate Agent 11. Agent 11 has been relocated to a secure training facility in Alaska for her own safety.

The search for Agent 11, who James refers to as “Spot,” has proceeded with Gino and Arliss. Because Murdoch warned Agent 11 not to play when he was a puppy, he first does not want to catch balls or Frisbees, but later he starts doing so with Gordon and James as a normal dog would.

Later on, Gino and Arliss make an attempt to kill him while he is with Gordon and James at a pet store, but he is able to avoid their attack by using his wits.

When the FBI learns that Spot is currently residing with Gordon, they decide to take him back. He is able to get away and eventually locates Gordon and James again. Sonny makes his comeback and makes an effort to assassinate him, but he is ultimately foiled, captured, and sent to jail.

The agents from the FBI make several attempts to retrieve Spot, but in the end, they decide to give him the freedom to choose with whom he wants to share his life.
