Fall Movie Plot
Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner) are ascending a mountain with Becky’s husband, Dan (Mason Gooding), who dies.
A year later, Becky is sad, an alcoholic, and separated from her father, James (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who thought Dan wasn’t the ideal guy for her.

Hunter encourages her to climb the decommissioned 2,000-foot B67 TV tower in the desert to disperse Dan’s ashes as treatment. Becky first refuses, then agrees to attend to move on from Dan’s death.
Hunter and Becky start climbing the next day. Becky scatters Dan’s ashes, letting him go. As they descend, the rusty ladder breaks, stranding them hundreds of feet above the next portion. Their water bag fell onto a communications dish far below and beyond their rope’s grasp.
Hunter believes emergency services will hear the ladder fall and arrive, but they don’t. They try to use their cell phones, but antenna interference blocks the signal.
Hunter sends a message to her 60,000 internet followers for aid and drops her phone off the tower, but the padding is insufficient, and it breaks.
Two men are camping in an RV. After dark, they fire a flare pistol at a tower’s emergency box. Instead of helping, the men steal Hunter’s Ford Bronco. Becky observes Hunter’s tattoo at night. Dan’s love message to Becky was “1-4-3.”
Becky is unconvinced by Hunter’s apologies for a four-month affair Dan drunkenly instigated and continued until his wedding day.
As atonement for her affair, Hunter agrees to get them water the next day. Back at the top, Hunter encourages Becky to use a drone to carry a message for help to a nearby diner, but it is hit by a semi-truck.
Becky, disoriented from lack of food and water, learns she had hallucinated Hunter’s presence for days after he fell onto the antenna dish.

The next day, a vulture eats Becky’s injured limb, so she kills and eats it. Becky climbs down to the dish, texts her father then pushes Hunter’s body off the tower. James calls 911, rushes to the tower, and reunites with his daughter.
