The YA book series Lockwood & Co. by Jonathan Stroud is being turned into a TV show by Netflix, and Bridgerton star Ruby Stokes is in charge of the cast!
The first time we heard about Lockwood & Co. When it was announced in May 2020 that Netflix and the Complete Fiction production company would work together to make a show based on the Lockwood & Co. book series, it was said that the books would get a TV adaptation. Joe Cornish had agreed to work on the series as the main writer, main director, and executive producer. Then, in December 2020, Netflix gave the show an official order for a second season.
The series was also written by Kara Smith, Ed Hime, and Joy Wilkinson. Even though Cornish is the director, some episodes have also been led by William McGregor. Executive producers are not just Cornish. Nira Park and Rachael Prior also work on the show.
