Season 2 of Winning Time is Coming
Winning Time won’t return until 2023 or 2024. Any tangible improvements may follow suit. HBO and Winning Time’s writers and directors may divulge nuggets, but trailers and release dates are likely far off.
Filming and production should be more simplified than before. Co-creator Jim Hecht pitched Pearlman’s novel as a TV drama in 2014. HBO discussed the show’s concept for a long before ordering a pilot in 2019 and hiring Max Borenstein. Casting, filming, and production continued until the pilot’s premiere in March 2022.
