American basketball executive and former head coach Bradley Kent Stevens (born October 22, 1976)presently serves as president of basketball operations for the Boston Celtics
Stevens, a native of Zionsville, Indiana, played basketball at Zionsville Community High School, where he earned all-conference honors and broke four school records during his time there. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at DePauw University, where he played college basketball and majored in economics.
Three times Stevens was nominated for Academic All-America, and he made the all-conference team. After leaving his work at Eli Lilly and Company, he jumped into coaching, becoming a volunteer assistant for the Butler University basketball team in time for the 2000-01 season.
The following year, Stevens was elevated to the position of assistant coach on the varsity team. He became head coach on April 4, 2007, replacing Todd Lickliter, who had served in the post for five years before leaving to lead the Iowa Hawkeyes. Stevens became the third-youngest coach in Division I NCAA history with 30 victories in his first season with Butler.

After making the jump to the varsity level, Brad set several records that stood until 2017. In 1995, he led the team in scoring and was voted MVP. For four years in a row, he was named to the all-state first team and received the Straight A Gold Medal Award for excellence in academic achievement.
Brad has excelled in multiple sports, including baseball and track and field, earning him a number of varsity letters.

Originally from Rocky River, Ohio, Tracy Wilhelmy Stevens entered the world on October 7, 1979. She got her high school education from Rocky River. Brad and she tied the knot in 2003, and in 2006 they announced they were expecting their first child. The baby Brady would be named by Tracy and Brad. So that she could help her husband financially and take care of their new baby, Tracy decided to leave her legal career. In 2009, Brad and Tracy gave birth to their second child, a daughter they named Kinsley.
Brad and Tracy, in addition to being a formidable couple, are also generous community members. As a pair, they have been regulars in the fight against cancer through the American Cancer Society’s Coaches vs. Cancer initiative.
