Snowpiercer Season 4 sees the ride continue, but the series’ end is near. Despite TNT’s early renewal of the series in July 2021 (during production on Season 3), the show appears to be coming to an end after a final season full of action and drama.

When Might Snowpiercer Season 4 Premiere on Netflix?
There will be the fourth season of Snowpiercer, but there is a catch. It was announced in June of 2022 that this would be the last season of the epic series.
After a successful, multi-season run on TNT, we can confirm that Snowpiercer will be canceled,” a network representative said.
“Skilled writers, actors, and crew members brought an incredible premise to life in exciting ways. It received high marks from critics, changed the post-apocalyptic genre forever, and will never be forgotten by its devoted following.”
Snowpiercer Last Season is Currently in Production
In a formal statement, Zbyszewski expressed his gratitude to TNT and Tomorrow Studios. “I am very grateful to everyone at TNT and Tomorrow Studios for allowing me to join the enthralling universe of Snowpiercer that Graeme and Aubrey have so brilliantly designed and built,” he said.
An intriguing fourth season is in the works, he said. I can’t wait to work with this amazing cast and crew as we discover new worlds, solve mysteries, and build relationships among characters.

The first season premiered in May of 2020, while the second and third premiered in the final week of January 2021 and 2022, respectively. A premiere date for the final season has yet to be announced.
The release timetable for season four probably will remain the same.
Who is Will Be Appearing in Snowpiercer Season 4?
The number of people involved in making Snowpiercer is falling faster than the population of Earth did when the ice age began. However, the likes of Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Rowan Blanchard, Iddo Goldberg, Lena Hall, Mickey Sumner, Sam Otto, Sheila Vand, Mike O’Malley, Roberto Urbina, and Jaylin Fletcher are all sure bets to return.
Season three’s finale featured a single major death, caused by LJ Folger swallowing her late father’s prosthetic eye. Just like you said you would. We may assume that next year will not see the return of Annalise Basso, but will Mr. Wilford? After what happened in season three, it’s now unknown if Sean Bean will return.

This would be unfortunate, but the news isn’t all negative. The fourth season of Snowpiercer has already added two new cast members: Clark Gregg (Agents of SHIELD) and Michael Aronov (The Americans). Will one of them step forward to be the new Mr. Wilford now that he’s gone?
What Happen in the Snowpiercer Season 4?
Snowpiercer, despite taking place in a single locale, is constantly throwing us off with unexpected plot twists that alter our understanding of the drama.
The penultimate episode of Season 3 saw the 1,029-car train split in two, with some passengers choosing to remain with Melanie and others joining Andre in New Eden. Surprisingly optimistic for such a dystopian show is the fact that the passengers have the power to determine their own fate rather than starting yet another battle.
After a time leap of three months, Melanie witnesses a missile launch from an unidentified location on the horizon, marking the end of the series. Did it make its way here from where Big Alice hopefully is now, New Eden? That’s quite improbable, considering how far away Andre’s crew ought to be by now.
More probable, the missile was fired from a previously undiscovered site with a high concentration of survivors. That’s probably how we’ll meet new characters played by Clark Gregg and Michael Aronov on the show. It also wouldn’t surprise us if Wilford was involved in any way.
If I may inquire, though, what purpose does the missile serve? Do you think it serves as a lighthouse? Does this signal another effort to increase global warming via the air?

Throughout Season 3, Wilford engaged in a power struggle with Layton, who he believes is incapable of running Snowpiercer on his own, in an effort to seize control of the ship for himself. He achieved some measure of success, assembling a personal train out of the available cars before eventually surrendering to Layton’s threats. Is he trying to fool us again?
When new showrunner Paul Zbyszewski promised us “new secrets” for Season 4, he wasn’t joking.
