Confirmation of a Second Party Film Has Been Made
Once SonyLIV launches Maanaadu, fans can look forward to the sequel immediately. Sify reported on a Twitter Spaces video in which director Venkat Prabhu said that filming on a sequel would begin as soon as he finished his current projects, which are likely to include the release of the film Party in 2019.
Some of the original cast members from the previous film are said to be returning for the sequel, a fact apparently verified by Prabhu. If a premiere date for Maanaadu’s streaming debut or formal confirmation of the sequel’s details becomes available, this item will be updated accordingly.
