Don’t Worry Darling Release Date, Cast, Trailer, Plot and Everything You Need to Know!

It combines psychological suspense with drama. According to the official summary provided by Warner Bros., “Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles) are fortunate to live in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental business town that houses the men who work on the top-secret Victory Project and their families.”

It continues, “While the husbands spend every day at the Victory Project Headquarters working on the ‘creation of advanced materials,’ their women – including Frank’s elegant spouse, Shelley (Chan) – are free to enjoy the beauty, luxury, and decadence of their community. Every resident’s needs are handled by the organization. They only require caution and unwavering support for the Victory cause in exchange.

“But when gaps in their ideal life begin to develop, revealing flashes of something much more evil hiding beneath the appealing façade, Alice cannot help but question why they are in Victory and what they are doing there. How much is Alice willing to sacrifice to reveal the truth about this paradise?”

Sounds fascinating. The script was created by Booksmart author Katie Silberman, and Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke will serve as executive producer. Olivia Wilde will direct and appear in the film.

Does Don’t Worry, Darling Have a Trailer?

Yes! We finally have a full-length trailer for Don’t Worry, Darling, which reveals a great deal more about the psychological thriller’s tight premise, as well as some extremely NSFW sequences starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh.

In addition to Harry and Florence, the teaser features actors Olivia Wilde, Gemma Chan, and Chris Pine as residents of ‘Victory,’ an idealized village constructed for the men working for the mysterious ‘Victory Project’ and their wives and families. Alice, played by Florence, begins to suspect that something more sinister may be occurring in Victory, and the situation is tense.

In addition, the video features hot moments of Harry and Florence engaging in sexual activity in various locales, including a particularly dramatic moment at the kitchen table. Consequently, there is indeed a great deal occurring. Check this out for yourself:

In September 2021, director Olivia Wilde provided fans with a 10-second teaser clip. Olivia posted the preview on Instagram, in which Florence Pugh is dressed in beautiful 1950s fashion while Florence and Harry once again become pretty intimate.

Before the release of the trailer, we received our first look at the film when Harry and Florence were pictured on site dressed as the classic 1950s California couple. The One Direction singer is seen wearing two great AF suits, one brown and one navy, and Florence is spotted wearing a floral wrap dress with a big, bouncy blowout. We do not doubt that we will enjoy this film.

Who Directed Don’t Worry Darling?

Olivia Wilde will direct Don’t Worry Darling as her follow-up to 2019’s Booksmart, as was already revealed. For her work on Booksmart, which received a 96 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature, Wilde received significant accolades.

In addition, Wilde is still working hard as a filmmaker. She has agreed to helm the film Perfect, which will tell the tale of legendary US Olympian Kerri Struggle, and she is also in the running to helm an untitled Sony/Marvel film, which is anticipated to have a female-centric plot.

Naturally, Wilde was a well-known actor before she became a successful filmmaker. Some of her notable acting roles include those in House, Tron: Legacy, Cowboys & Aliens, Drinking Buddies, and Richard Jewell. In 2022, she will also make an appearance in Damien Chazelle’s Babylon.
