Elon Musk is the most famous business figure these days. Lots of people became his fans and many consider him as their idol. His full name is Elon Reeve Musk FRS. He is an entrepreneur and business magnate. He was born on 28 June 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa.
According to Forbes magazine, his total net worth is 29,700 crores USD. Elon Musk graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Wharton School. But I think everyone will recognize him as the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer at SpaceX; early-stage investor, CEO, and Product Architect of Tesla Inc.
I am not sure how many of you will recognize, but Elon Musk made a cameo in Robert Downey Jr.‘s ‘Iron Man 2‘, which went on to add him as an ‘Avenger’. This made him even more famous to the Marvel fans. He also acted or appeared as a guest in many other films and series.
He is also the founder of The Boring Company; and co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI. Many companies became disrupted because of Elon Musk and his companies, specifically 8 industries. Maybe it’s these amazing achievements that are making everyone see him as an inspiration.
Now, Elon Musk made an announcement saying that the SpaceX Starship launchpad is under construction in Florida which means Texas will no longer be the lone Starship state. It is said that a second Starbase is currently under construction. SpaceX’s founder Elon Musk announced in his official Twitter handle by referencing Florida’s Cape Canaveral that “Construction of Starship orbital launch pad at the Cape has begun”(his words, according to his Twitter account).

It always was clear to everyone that he wants Florida to eventually be the launch site for the spacecraft. He is planning to take the humans to the moon and Mars. The idea for the launch pad started back in 2019, but there hasn’t been much activity on the site since. It is widely noticed that most development of the company’s next-generation Starship vehicle has been centered on its Boca Chica, Texas, test facility, which Musk has lobbied to rename to Starbase, Texas.
Information known till this point is that the new launchpad will be part of the existing launch complex at Kennedy Space Center that SpaceX currently leases from NASA, which is where many of the company’s Falcon 9 launches originate. But the first orbital flight of a Starship prototype is still set to launch from Texas next year, as soon as SpaceX receives both the environmental clearance and a launch license from the Federal Aviation Administration. Which will be no issue. Remember who we’re talking about. He’ll never leave a stone unturned.
But there’s still absolutely no word on whether the Florida pad will include a wild new plan for a launch tower capable of literally catching a returning rocket as it comes in for a landing. I think Space lovers will agree with me as I say this, the Space Coast is never boring and never will be.
