Rocket League is a vehicular soccer game designed by Psyroix. This game was initially only released for Microsoft Windows and Playstation 4 in July 2015. But it later extended to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch too.

Rocket League is a sequel to Psyonix’s Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-powered Battle-Cars which was a 2008 video game for the Playstation 3. Rocket League’s graphics and gameplays are praised and appreciated worldwide.

This game won tons of industry awards and had over 10 million sales and 40 million players by the beginning of 2018.

The game is 5 minutes long, and in case of a tie, has ‘sudden death’ round too. The cars can jump to hit the ball while in mid-air. Altering a car’s orientation in midair combined with midair boosting lets the players drive their car in a controlled flight. This is pretty cool, considering, no car ever does that.

It also has a competitive mode where the player’s rank is determined by the number of matches they win or lose. It also has a “custom training” area where the players can learn new skills and/or practice old ones.

A new mobile game called ‘Rocket League Sideswipe’ has been recently released globally on iOS and Android. Psyonix has developed this game for mobile devices. We can either play solo or group up with all our friends for two vs. two matches, which last two minutes each. It’s completely our choice. Psyonix guarantees that this game’s touch controls are easy to get habituated to. But to make it more interesting to the car soccer pros, the game will also have advanced control mechanics which are tough to catch up on, but if you’re a pro, it wouldn’t be a big issue.

This game has a ranking system for competitive modes, which makes it all more fun to play. There are a lot of car customization options for those who want to win or lose fashionably.

Players in New Zealand and Australia already got their hands on this game way earlier than the rest of the world because of some Android regional Alpha test. The Beta test versions were released later for the other countries too.

The game is completely free with only two in-app purchases for cosmetics and Rocket Pass. The newly released trailer brings a feeling as of the original game but, is designed for much simpler mobile handles.

The company announced the release of ‘Rocket League Sideswipe’ on their official Twitter handle. For now, the game’s still in pre-season, but Psyonix revealed a major announcement regarding season 1 to be made soon.

While PC and Console versions have 4 players on each team, the mobile version doesn’t share this privilege, also while the PC version is 3D which makes the players roam around more freely while the mobile version only has goals on both ends of the screen.

This game also offers thousands of customization combinations with items like cars, wheels, decals, and more. Players can also communicate with each other during the game using quick chat stickers.

As to speak, this game will be an instant hit for certain.
