Michael B. Jordan is leading a double life as a director as well as an actor, as he prepares for his Creed III comeback.
Michael B. Jordan appears to be in fighting shape for his forthcoming dual-position both as the director and performer in the athletic drama followup Creed III. The actor can be seen in a new video uploaded by celeb instructor Corey Calliet, wherein he exercises weights in training for his comeback as Adonis Creed, the son of Rocky global heavyweight champion Apollo Creed.

“Director by day, bodybuilder by night! A certain level of constancy is required to earn the huge reward…” Calliet wrote in a caption next to the excellent footage. Michael B. Jordan will be living a dual life in the Creed threequel, as the star would be making his directing debut as well as returning to the main role.
The first Creed, released in 2015, follows Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky narrative from a completely different angle, presenting spectators to Adonis, the troubled son of boxing great Apollo Creed. Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) never met his renowned father, who passed away before Adonis was born. With boxing in his veins, Adonis approaches Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and asks him to be his coach. Rocky finds a lot of Apollo in Adonis and offers to teach him, despite the fact that he is facing an adversary stronger and more powerful than that anyone has fought in the arena. Creed received great acclaim, emerging as a suitable continuance of the Rocky saga for the current day.
In 2018, a successor, Creed II, was released, which continued the Balboa/Drago animosity and saw Adonis take a fight with Drago’s son. While not quite as highly reviewed as to its previous, Creed 2 maintained the franchise’s commercial success, rendering Creed 3 nearly completely unavoidable.
The storyline of Creed III is unknown, although Tessa Thompson will reprise her role as Bianca opposite Jordan. It was recently rumored that Jordan is looking for The Harder They Fall & Loki actor Jonathan Majors will play the antagonist in the film, which will also definitely bring in outstanding portrayals from both actors.
It was also confirmed that Sylvester Stallone would not reprise his role as Rocky Balboa, leaving Creed III fully on Adonis’ wide shoulders. There’s always respect and a sh-t-ton of love because of what he’s established, but we’d like to push and steer Adonis and the family that he’s formed forward. So, perhaps, you’ll like what I’m thinking.
Jordan passionately invests in his assignments and creates extremely unforgettable performances, as seen by his work in the first 2 Creed films and other projects such as Black Panther and Without Remorse. Although Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky will not appear in Creed III, the film seems like it could survive on its own that viewers have thoroughly accepted the new persona of Adonis “Donnie” Creed. Although Jordan is a seasoned actor, it will be intriguing to watch how he performs in the captain’s chair and what fresh ideas he will bring to the game. Creed III is set to be released on November 23, 2022.
