The legendary Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter will return following her appearance in Wonder Woman 1984.

Gal Gadot as the iconic superhero Wonder Woman dons the gold armor of the ancient Amazonian warrior, Asteria. We get to hear the name Asteria, but we don’t really see her till the movie’s mid-credits sequence, in which she is portrayed only by the real Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter.

If you had been expecting that her presence in “Wonder Woman 1984” will be more than a one-and-done cameo, you’ll be glad to know that she’ll be back for “Wonder Woman 3.”

Gadot had a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter at the latest DC FanDome event regarding having Carter returning and the leadership she provided behind-the-scenes already before appearing on screen in “Wonder Woman 1984.” She told THR, “First and foremost, Lynda has coached me since the day I was cast playing Wonder Woman.” She was constantly there, chatting to me, offering me advice, and so on. She’s a tremendous supporter of what Patty and I’ve been accomplishing, and it was really wonderful that we were able to have her back into the last film and now to the third.”

“Wonder Woman 1984” will be immortalized in cinematic history as one such movie that changed the theatre scene for the entire year of 2021. When it debuted in cinemas and on HBO Max on Xmas Day 2020, it prepared the path for Warner Bros. to broadcast its entire slate simultaneously this year. There’s really no disputing that the overall opinion was less favorable than that of the 2017 “Wonder Woman” picture, which received a Hugo Award and was among the top ten movies of the year by the American Film Institute.

Director Patty Jenkins is back with Gadot and Carter for “Wonder Woman 3,” and as her trilogy includes the legendary Diana Prince beside Gadot, we could only wish it reclaims its ground as a pleaser. In terms of Carter and “Wonder Woman 3 is much better than last time,” Gadot noted. I’m madly in love with her. She means a lot to me.”

Gadot may presently be seen on Netflix’s “Red Notice.” She has also just agreed to portray the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action “Snow White.”

Red Notice Trailer:

The film does not yet have a launch date and may be shot after Jenkins’ Star Wars feature, Rogue Squadron. Little more is known regarding Wonder Woman 3, except that, unlike 1984, it will be released in theatres. Although it appeared probable that the third installment will reintroduce some known figures, one has been verified following some strong hints.

Although there have been several clues that Carter will appear with Gadot in the third film, it is the most direct verification of her involvement that fans have gotten. She appears to also have a considerably greater role than what she had in Wonder Woman 1984, and she may be in line for a supporting role rather than a cameo role.   Many people expect that Wonder Woman 3 would return Diana to the current day since her 2 earlier movies held her in the 1900s, although it is unclear when that will take place. Nonetheless, this is a thrilling development for a much-anticipated sequel, and we are eager to see what happens next.
