This past Summer, ABC made a surprise revelation that it has found their Bachelor lead for 2021: Matt James, who is now appearing in the show’s 25th season being the first Black Bachelor.

James was the first cast as a candidate on Clare Crawley‘s Bachelorette season, and ABC reports that they immediately saw James as the right fit for their main male. So, before Crawley’s season started filming, ABC snatched him from the competition and named him the next Bachelor.

Matt James, a former Bachelor star, has a big revelation to deliver to his fans. On Nov. 1, 2021, Matt removed or hid all of his Instagram posts before disclosing his news. Fans were eager to find out what the life-changing announcement would indeed be. The only indication he provided was in his Insta Stories when he shared a baby picture of himself and his mom. “Tomorrow,” it simply said. Now that his major story is out, fans are responding to it.

Matt James used Instagram to reveal the information that he has been teasing his fans with. Some foresaw and were accurate about the news. Others were completely unaware. So, what did Matt say?

Matt James, it seems, authored a book. He’s treading in the steps of many other Bachelor Nation stars by telling his experience to the rest of the globe. He took to Instagram to post a snapshot of the book with a note. “My story, unedited,” Matt stated.  FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Off-Screen Conversations with a Bachelor on Race, Family, and Forgiveness is scheduled to be released in May 2022. C can’t wait to share more of my story with y’all, the whole truth”

Among the first people to congratulate Matt on his book was Emmanuel Acho. Ben Higgins also expressed his congratulations. “Congratulations, Matt, and best wishes as you embark on the book adventure,” he remarked.

Fans also weighed in on the news. The majority of Matt’s fans were enthusiastic about his new enterprise. Many others expressed their congratulations or just stated that they can’t wait to read it. Obviously, there were some criticisms. The majority, though, were all encouraging remarks for Matt James. Rachael Kirkconnell appears to be deafeningly quiet on social media regarding Matt’s new book thus far. It’s also worth noting that, since Matt’s big statement, all of his Instagram photographs have reappeared.
According to reports, Matt’s book will provide insight into who he is away from the camera. The book will be released in January, as per the summary. “On the show, Matt could only go so far in telling America his own tale. In First Impressions, Matt discusses difficult subjects such as racism and opportunity, which marked his season on The Bachelor. Matt stands at the crossroads of these critical problems and offers the insight he has gained from his experience.”

Matt’s Instagram account contains a link to his publisher’s website with further information about his next book, including its publishing date: May 3, 2022. The publisher’s website contains connections to major book retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and IndieBound, where you may acquire First Impressions.
