2020’s one of the best thriller-mystery series ‘ The Flight Attendant’ has been already renewed for The Flight Attendant Season 2. The series hyped a lot among the audience and we can say HBO Max doesn’t disappoint us when it comes to some kind of show or a series. HBO Max already revealed about The Flight Attendant Season 2 plot on Tuesday that the lead character can be seen living her most sober life but soon enough to get entangled in an overseas case where she witnesses some kind of murder leading her to the international attachment. The official or confirmed dates have not arrived yet but we can hope to see the show for the upcoming comeback around 2022 Springtime as reported.
The dark-comedy mystery series has also cast new actors which new characters are about to be introduced. Some of the new casts, as we know are Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera, and Shohreh Aghdashloo whereas the original cast is Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz, and Rosie Perez, and of course Kaley Cuoco already set to back. Not much has been commented on the plot that seems to be getting more interesting as it will deal with the much more international case and we can hope them to get more deep into the mystery. Here are some of the cast and their roles, Mo McRae (Sons of Anarchy, Rebel), Callie Hernandez (Soundtrack, Graves), and JJ Soria (Army Wives, Animal Kingdom) have boarded the comedic caper as series regulars, with Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Jessie Ennis (Mythic Quest), Mae Martin (Feel Good), Margaret Cho (Drop Dead Diva), Santiago Cabrera (Salvation, Star Trek: Picard) and Shohreh Aghdashloo (The Expanse), McRae will play Benjamin Berry, a career CIA officer.
The first season is already based on the novel by the same name ‘The Flight Attendant’ by the author Chris Bohjalian. Whereas it has been reported that The Flight Attendant Season 2 won’t be based on any novel due to the lack of source material so the showrunner has revealed it will be on its own but the conspiracy will come back eventually. So if you have already watched the first season I’m sure you are excited for The Flight Attendant Season 2 as well. But it didn’t, you should totally check out the first season on HBO Max and have the second season on your series bucket-list. This season’s lead character ‘Cassie’ is set to join the CIA as she gets involved in the conspiracy already but this time the series will also focus on her sober life. The second season production began their filming in Germany this year September where Kaley already shared an Instagram post to mark the date for start filming and captioning it ‘ Cassie and Cassie’s hair are back’ and fans are already excited about it. The show actually ran successfully for the first season consisting of 8 episodes as it’s a miniseries show hitting an IMBD of 7.1. With the new set of supporting characters and a new plot, the show is set to give us the chills.
