Bruce Willis In Resident Evil Village? Mod Replaces Chris Redfield With John Mcclane Character

Resident Evil Village the first-person survival horror game developed and published by Capcom will now include Bruce Willis as a new character in it. It will be quite unexpected to imagine Bruce Willis in the game but it is actually happening all thanks to the new mod. 

Resident Evil Village is the latest game developed by Capcom in the Resident Evil franchise. The storyline of the game begins with Ethan Winters, the protagonist of the game, suffers an attack on his homeland and his daughter gets kidnapped. The journey is about finding the kidnapped daughter. The game is available in an online multiplayer mode. It was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June 2020 and was released on May 7, 2021, for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.

Resident Evil Village is a horror game with secrets and side paths, action-oriented gameplay style has a lot of survival horror elements. The new mod developed for the game would be quite similar to the original game but will include new characters like Bruce Willis.

The Resident Evil Village’s mod has been developed by a creator called Darkness Rvaltier. He is considered a Hobbyist and a General Artist. The mod simply replaces Chris Redfield with Bruce Willis’ John McClane character as seen by Dualshockers in the cutscenes presented by Darkness Rvaltier.

Bruce Willis is an amazing actor and musician and is well known for playing wisecracking or hard-edged characters, often in spectacular action films. It is the main reason due to which he is included in the game. John McClane is officially played by Bruce Willis. He is a fictional character and main protagonist of the Die Hard film series and related video games. McClane has been portrayed in all of the films by actor Bruce Willis and is known for his sardonic one-liners. 

This isn’t the first time John McClane has been included in a game that is not related to Die Hard games. Last year in May he was included as a new skin in the Call of Duty: Warzone game. The character made its first appearance on the Die Hard game series of 1988. He is described as a tough, stubborn, and outwardly cocky person. He is considered the most irritating enemy in the game. Even when the odds are stacked impossibly against him, he can’t help making jibes at his foes.

This mod is available and can be downloaded from NexusMods. There are certain instructions given by NexusMods for replacing Chris Redfield with Bruce Willis on the site itself. The players would be required to install the new mod with Bruce Willis as well as install the Mod Manager specifications in their device. All you need to do is copy the link given to you that is DieHard_Village.rar in the folder indicated by the Mod Manager. The last step would be to activate the mod and play it.

To uninstall you simply need to deactivate the mod and remove it from your device by deleting it from the folders. If you are a mod fan you might have some other mods installed and activated in your device this can hamper the performance of the Bruce Willis mod in your device when you try to install the mod yourself.
