Back 4 Blood is a descendant of the old Left 4 Dead series which was also developed by Turtle Rock. Value Corporations also developed Left 4 Dead with Turtle Rock and so had certain rights over the elements and ideas used in the series but the Back 4 Blood does not include Value. This game does have certain insights and features from the old Left 4 Dead game for the fans. The game will prove to be nostalgic for many users.
There are certain new features completely different from the Left 4 Dead series that the new game will have. One such feature is the Corruption Cards. The AI director will play Corruption Cards which describe challenges that players will face. These cards will also provide you with bonuses such as improving weapon quality or allowing players to carry extra medkits. It all depends on choosing correct corruption cards.
The game starts in a place where humans have been turned into ‘Riddens’, who are creatures. The main task of the players is to get rid of these creatures called Riddens. Therefore the players are known as ‘Cleaners’.
This game will be available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC. It will be released on October 12, 2021. A mini beta version for the game will be available from 12th August for all the players.
