Poco F3 GT’s launch date has been revealed by the company and the phone is going to launch in Q3 2021. In simple language, the phone will launch between 1st July, Thursday to 30th September, Thursday. The news confirms that the launch might happen in August. Poco F3 GT will be the second phone in the F series to be launched in India after Poco F1 that launched on 22nd August 2018.
91mobile reported that the Poco F3 GT will launch in the first ten days of August. So either it will launch in the first week or the second week of August. Poco plans to compete with Oneplus Nord 2 thus it is expected to launch before the Oneplus Nord 2 so as to divert the attention of the users and draw them towards Poco instead of Oneplus. So the August timeline as predicted should be kept in mind if you really are a Poco fan.
It is confirmed that the Poco F3 GT will be a premium smartphone compared to all the old Poco phones which were made affordable for the users. The only premium phone launched by Poco includes the Poco X3 Pro after which the Poco F3 GT will be the second most premium phone by Poco. It is believed that the Poco F3 GT will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 which was a gaming phone launched by Redmi.
With so little time left for the launch, we can expect Poco to go all in and advertise and promote the new phone. With Poco F3 GT being one of its flagship phones, Poco will not leave any chance to promote it and create a demand for the phone before Onelpus launches the Nord 2, as the previous Nord was the most liked phone of all time. Also, Nord 5G got double the sales of the original Nord.
What can we expect in the new Poco F3 GT?
The Poco F3 GT has a Dimensity 1200 flagship chipset which is considered the most powerful processor but less powerful than the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The same chipset is installed in Realme X7 Max. Poco F3 GT has a 6.67 inch AMOLED display which is quite big with a 120Hz refresh rate, 480 Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ certification, and 10-bit color.
This device is specially made for gamers and will run smoothly when you play high GB games like PUBG, Free Fire, etc. It also has retractable shoulder buttons especially to ease the gaming process for the users with a vapor chamber to cool the phone after a specific interval of time so that the phone runs smoothly.
Talking about the camera it will have a 64 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera. It has a 5000 mAh battery and has 67W fast charging. The audio is great with two stereo speakers.
This phone can be liked a lot by gamers and will be a tough competition for Realme X7 Max, iQoo 7, and Oneplus Nord 2. All these phones are expected to launch in the last week of July thus the competition will be quite tight.
