Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Is Here, Will Offer Players A Free Physical To Digital PS5 Upgrade

According to reports the free PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S upgrades for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is accessible now, Electronic Arts confirmed. The EA and Disney announced the Fallen Order upgrades to be launched ahead of Star Wars Day, promising a summer release that the developers at Respawn Entertainment clearly managed to uphold and made gamers’ lives even more fun and interesting. 

So basically Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the first game we’re aware of that allows you to upgrade from the physical PS4 edition to a digital version on PS5 without spending any extra money. How crazy is that? It means that people who own a physical copy of the game but have a diskless next-gen console can now play the game using their PS5 without the need of buying the disk, so basically, you can still freely qualify for the current-gen adventure even if you have a diskless system. Now that’s really crazy and definitely a piece of very good news for the gamers out there.

According to EA, it is also said that the current-gen version of Jedi: Fallen Order includes higher-resolution assets and textures and greater resolution power. Jedi: Fallen Order’s next-gen update adds 4K / HDR resolution and improved 60fps performance and faster loading speeds. It also adds a performance mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X that runs at a 1440p resolution and 60fps when turned off, the game runs at a 4K resolution at 30fps. Adding on to that you will also be able to transfer your saves from your previous adventure and if you do that you have successfully unlocked trophies and achievements which will carry forward to your new adventure.
