Rachel Annabelle Riley who is a British television presenter who co-presents in the Channel 4 daytime puzzle show Countdown and also in its comedy spin-off 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
In August 2012, Riley married Jamie Gilbert, whom she had met while they were both studying at the University of Oxford but they had soon separated. She then began dating her Strictly dance partner, Pasha Kovalev.
Pavel ‘Pasha’ Kovalev is a Russian professional Latin and ballroom dancer. He started dancing at the age of eight, and then moved to the United States with his professional dance partner Anya Garnis. In 2011, Kovalev moved to the United Kingdom to take part in the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing as a professional dancer.
Then not long after, in around May 2019, Riley announced that she was pregnant after which on 28 June 2019 Riley and Kovalev married in Las Vegas. Then again in April 2021, Riley announced that she was pregnant with the couple’s second child.
They both were recently snapped on a Friday night where Rachel Riley was glowing while she enjoyed her date night with her husband Pasha Kovalev. While Rachel Riley looked gorgeous in her body hugging black dress as she cradled her blossoming baby bump at a Cabaret All Stars show in London.
The pregnant TV star looked startling for her night in the town with her sleeveless frock which had the additions of fringed detailing on the skirt with a high neckline. She then added a pair of black, cut-out heels and had a stylish gold chain belt around her waist which highlighted her growing belly. And Rachel finished off her look with a sparkly purple clutch bag and a very bold red lipstick which added more colour to her outfit and made her look even more stunning and also added a pink jacket to complete her outfit as a whole. And she also appeared to be very excited to walk on the red carpet while showing off her growing belly to the world. Whereas her partner, Pasha Kovalev, also showed up with a smart figure for the show and portrayed a colorful display in a tartan blazer paired with a red jumper. There were even very cute snaps of the couple captured where Pasha lovingly smothered his wife, Riley with kisses.
They are very excited to bring in their second baby in the world after their daughter Maven, who is already 18 months old. So it is very exciting for the couple and brings in a lot of happiness for them and even their fans. But it was later revealed that Pasha has been trying to protect his wife from cruel online comments sent by internet trolls. As they are expecting their second child, Pasha said he is ‘trying to protect her as much as possible by providing a safe environment at home’. He continued by saying that ‘That’s all I can do and try to focus his attention on the good things.’ Racheal has recently received a lot of cruel online comments which makes her worried how these hate comments may affect her unborn child. So it is advisable that we should all just hope and pray for the delivery of the baby to be healthy and fit during these difficult times and with an addition of an ongoing pandemic.
