ABC’s popular primetime drama Big Sky coming up with episodes 10 & 11 after a long break!


After a long break, the popular drama Big Sky is returning with its much-awaited episodes 10&11. Reportedly, the episodes will be aired on 13th April 2021. Around three months have passed since ‘episode 9’ was released. Since then, fans were waiting for their favorite performers including Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury to show their magic on screen.

Big sky premiered in November and for the next 3 months, the series gripped the audience. Somewhat counterintuitively, a series that was going good took a break. The break served as a gap to reconsider some factors like wrapping up production. It allowed the team to review the left 7 episodes, considering the fact that this is 16 episode series.

Interestingly, Variety states that the plan of coming up with 16 episodes was not always the case. Instead, only 10 episodes were planned initially. But, ABC extended the series, maybe for plotline issues or due to public response.

Reportedly, the Big Sky premiere earned 10.8 million total viewers and a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49. This kind of response made it ABC’s most-watched and highest-rated debut after The Rookie.

The plot of Episodes 10 & 11. (Spoiler Alert!)

The title of episode 10 is ‘Catastrophic Thinking‘, it will be aired at 9 PM. Soon after that, you’ll get to seen an interesting episode 11 with the name, ‘All Kinds of Snakes’ at 10 PM. Interestingly, both of them are directed by different directors and written by different scriptwriters.

Episode 10, ‘Catastrophic Thinking’, is directed by Gwyneth Horder-Payton and the script is by Annakate Chappell and Mathew Tinker.

On the other hand, episode 11, ‘All Kinds of Snakes’ is directed by Stephen Kay, from a script provided by Elwood Reid and Maria Sten.

ABC has given out some basic plot details of episodes 10 & 11 combined.

It has been three months since Ronald escaped. Now, Cassie and Jenny are official partners, catching the troublemakers. But, things don’t look easy for them. Ronald is still out there somewhere and adding to all the problems, a domestic case takes a lethal turn. A US Marshall is also intruding on their business by looking into their case files.

After the break, this show came with a bang. New mysteries are unpacking, new villains are entering the frame, things are going to get interesting. It’s a treat for the fans.

The Casting of the show

The season one cast includes great actors, each one of them does justice to their characters.

To begin with, Katheryn Winnick is playing Jenny Hoyt, Kylie Bunbury as Cassie Dewell, and Brian Geraghty as Ronald Pergman.

We want Big Sky season 2!

Fans of the show across the world, are looking forward to the second season being out. It’s quite fascinating to know that season 2 is demanded of a show still running with its first installment.

As of now, there’s no official confirmation from ABC regarding the news of renewal. Also, it’s very soon to talk about that. Let’s enjoy season 1 first!
