E3 tweeted on their official account regarding the re-launch of the biggest show possible in the gaming industry. But further details are given in the tweet surely left everyone in amazement and shock regarding not including Sony and EA in the group.
E3 2021 will be the third E3 to be hosted by the Entertainment Software Association including creative appearances from Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, Koch Media. It will take place from June 12-15 in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
“Join us June 12-15 as we come together, once again, for the Electronic Entertainment Expo. There will be incredible games, huge announcements, and unforgettable experiences.” The creators of the show added.
With over 100 partners including SQUARE ENIX, SEGA, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Take-Two, the ESA’s list of partners marks just a fraction of what will be available when the system launches.
Long a staple of the gaming industry calendar, the Entertainment Software Association’s E3–the Electronic Entertainment Expo–was founded in 1995 to represent the business interests of the console, computer, and video game publishers. Talking about the last 12 months, the company explains its views on the revenue and the business that hasn’t flourished much due to the Covid-19. The billions of revenue that used to come through gaming was left for a meager or handful of money. It surely impacted a lot of people and the households thus making it difficult for everybody to make a living. But now considering an improvement in the situation, the company has decided to launch the much-awaited program known as “E3 2021”.
The ESA is honored to host the Game Awards for the fourth consecutive year,” said Stanley Pierre-Louis, president, and CEO of the Entertainment Software Association. “We are looking forward to a dynamic show that celebrates an impactful year for video games and the creators behind them.”
Being a digital show this year, though still company would face a lot of issues and less revenue the faces would be happy as somehow the show is going on and entertaining the audience in the right way. But the creators still would be in discomfort regarding an increase in Covid-19 cases again which could again result in something worse than last year. Let’s hope for the best and pray that everything goes on in the right way and everyone gets to have some amazing time in the future and not worrying what happened in the past.
