However, It might not enter the market with the name ‘Nokia 8.4 5G’, considering the change in the naming convention of Nokia smartphones. So, there is still no word on what exactly the name is going to be. NOKIA 8.3 5G SUCCESSOR: SPECIFICATIONS, FEATURES, AND MORE

The report tends to claim that the new device will be equipped with a ZEISS branded 108-megapixel Penta-lens camera system. There is a strong possibility that the camera module will include an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto snapper, a macro shooter, and a depth helper. It is also expected to carry support for OZO Audio. Interestingly, Nokia’s OZO audio technology has been gaining a lot of appeal since its inception. It was created only to get rid of the mundane performance of currently available audio technology, according to NOKIA.

Furthermore, the above-mentioned qualities will apparently be paired with the upcoming Snapdragon 775 processor from Qualcomm. It’s should be mentioned that the Snapdragon 775 chipset hasn’t been set forth by Qualcomm yet. The processor is expected to be an upgraded version of Snapdragon 765G, known to be, one of Qualcomm’s gaming chipsets. This is indicative of the fact that the Snapdragon 775 may also be better suited for gaming on mobile phones.

It is worth knowing that the above-mentioned chipsets are similar to what Google is likely to consider for the flagship Pixel 6, so expecting Nokia 8.3 5G’s successor to be one of the best Android phones out there in the global market will not be an exaggeration.

The much-awaited smartphone is expected to carry a lavish 6.5-inch Pure-Display V4 technology. It is very likely to support a 120Hz refresh rate and is expected to be powered by a 5000 mAh battery.

Additionally, if we’ll just take a look at the back-side of this phone, a new Penta-camera system will be revealed. [According to the reports shared on the Blog] It will be accompanied by an ultra-high-res sensor. In the past, a set-up similar to this has been used by the company on the Nokia 9 PureView, which has received a good amount of criticism.

There is no confirmation regarding the exact dates of the launch. The report is suggestive of the fact that Nokia is aiming for the second half of 2021, which means the phone should brace itself to face good competition. It may have a face-off with other strong players in the league, such as the new Redmi Note 10 series and Realme 8 Pro which are also expected to launch this year.
