In the UAE, one of the seven emirates in Dubai. What are all the seven emirates, also what is the history behind it? It was founded in 1971 as the treaty got signed then. Location of the UAE:
It is on the continent of Asia. All of the seven emirates being Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi(in no particular order).
History of the UAE:
All the emirates had signed the contract to be one on December 2nd,1971. The agreement was only because Ras Al Khaimah had joined one year later in 1972. That was the main history of the country. Now, what is the other account?
News reports state that “it seems that in 1622, there was a loss of Hormuz eventually caused by the Portuguese. This marked the entry point for the Dutch and English. This was to the Middle Eastern markets. The loss of Hormuz continues with a series of events. One such being that in the same year,1622, Bandar Abbas then became the centre of all their commercial and political activities that occurred in the Gulf. Eventually, they became rivals after 1622. This was very well due to the fact when the English East India company. They decided to move its main gulf factory to the Bandar Abbas.
