The Lord of Rings, starring Robert Aramayo, Will the new series by Amazon recreate the magic of the famous film series?

The Lord of the Rings is a film series based on the novel written by J. R. R. Tolkien consisting of three epic fantasy adventure films. Peter Jackson directs the movie series. The movie series stood as a tremendous hit when released in 2001. The audience’s support took the season to run for three sequels namely, The Fellowship of the Ring in 2001, The Two Towers in 2002 and The Return of the King in 2003. There is a hefty amount of good news to the fans as The Lord of Rings will come back with a new set of series from Amazon.

The sensational hit, The Lord of Rings, is all set to return to OTT Platform, Amazon Prime. The fans are delighted to acknowledge the news that the epic fantasy drama is going to be recreated into web series by Amazon. The information buzzed in 2019 that Amazon paid a hefty amount of around $1 Billion to buy the rights of Tolkien’s series. Amazon has already started preparations for filming, and the global pandemic has paused the filming. The series may come out in 2021. Although Amazon has confirmed the release of series, it may come out in 2021.

Cast: The Lord of Rings Amazon Series.

Amazon announced the casts in January 2020. Will Poulter, known for Bandersnatch, may play the lead character Baldor, but he withdrew this opportunity due to some conflicts, and Robert Aramayo known for playing young Ned Stark on Game of Thrones will replace Poulter. Maxim Baldry will also cast in the series. Joseph Mawle known for Benjen Stark on Game of Thrones may play the main antagonist in the series. These are some of the other actors confirmed to play in the series, Ema Horvath, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Charlie Vickers, Daniel Weyman and some newcomers Tyroe Muhafidin and Sophia Nomvete.

The main story of the series relies on the works of Tolkien. The series would not replicate the existing version of film series but would have some modifications. This series will take us back to the history of Middle-Earth to the Silmarillion Era. The creators are working on the script, and the filming may start soon. Amazon has revealed that the series will run in the timeline of the 3,441 years before the events of The Fellowship of the Ring, known as the Age of Numenor (the Second Age) in Tolkien’s works.
