For all the medical drama loving fans out there, Grey’s Anatomy is like a dream come true for sure. The fantastic 16 seasons released by the series perfectly showed us the extraordinary combination of romance and comedy. It was on March 27, 2005, from where the entire journey begins and now surprisingly one more beautiful would be added to the series which indeed a piece of great news for every fan. The whole series revolves around our main lead Dr Meredith Grey who starts her life in the series as an intern. We can indeed see her facing and solving various issues in a surgeon’s entire life, and the series beautifully depicts our hero’s journey starting from an intern to becoming a well talented Chief of General Surgery.

Fans who all were eagerly waiting for the remarkable series to get renewed after watching g the latest released season 16 were pleased to hear the renewal news of the series on May 10, 2019. Finally, it got officially announced that season 17 will get premiered on November 12, 2020. The production for the most awaited season 17 started on September 8, 2020.

On July 30, 2020, it got proudly announced that our beloved actors Richard Flood and Anthony Hill who play their incredible roles as Dr Cormac Hayes and Dr Winston Ndugu will get promoted as the series regulars. That got said we surely will see our beloved main characters such as Dr Meredith Grey, Dr Miranda Bailey, Dr Richard Webbe, Dr Owen Hunt, Dr Jackson Avery and Dr Amelia Shepherd along with others. These beautiful characters will get played by the cherished personalities like Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Kevin McKidd, Jesse Williams, Caterina Scorsome respectively. We would also see few recurring cast members such as Jaicy Elliot as Dr Taryn Helm and Debbie Allen as Dr Catherine Fox along with others.

On July 21, 2020, show maker Krista Vernoff said in an interview that the upcoming season would slightly be based on Covid-19 pandemic as the creators want the shows to be more realistic and connected to what’s happening in our real life. There have not been any other official statements made yet. Still, by looking back at season 16, we can predict that this season might bring us more details about our beloved doctors and with a fantastic plot developed on Corona Virus.
