Keke Palmer Will Participate in ‘sister Act 3’!
Keke Palmer said confidently, “Yes,” when asked if she will be a part of Sister Act 3’s cast.
The 29-year-old founder of KeyTV broke her silence on Whoopi Goldberg’s recent statements regarding the upcoming revival during an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Sunday (Oct. 16), when she was in town to receive an honor at the 2022 Newport Beach Film Festival.
“I’m ready!” she exclaimed after giving a direct answer. Your girl has all the makings of a star! Come on!” the actress urged, breaking into a brief rendition of Sister Act 2’s “Joyful, Joyful.”
But this isn’t the first time Palmer has expressed interest in joining Sister Act 3’s cast. The star of “Nope,” who is a strong believer in the power of visualization, voiced her desire to appear in the movie when a fan-created poster for it went viral.
God bless you everyone for this manifestation over my life,” Palmer wrote on Twitter. The request was made to @WaltDisneyCo, and all I’m doing is relaying it. (She got a part in the last season of Insecure thanks to a tweet she sent to Issa Rae in 2020).
In her most recent Porter Magazine cover story, Palmer explained how this outlook contributes to her “booked-and-busy” reputation. Having a wide variety of interests is important to me. “I don’t want to be stuck in my ways, so I’m a very creative person,” remarked the generation’s avant-garde.
Goldberg, who is 66 years old, recently discussed her ideal cast for the sequel during an appearance on Hell Of A Week With Charlamagne Tha God on Comedy Central.
She announced, “I’m going to have to call in Keke Palmer.” Everybody, please come in. Please let Lizzo in here. I’m after everyone. What is her name, because I want to date the girl who has the chest? … Minaj Nicks! Nicki, please come.
I’m after everyone. I need to have a good time, so the more individuals there is that share that goal, the better.
The EGOT winner eventually gave some insight into the making of Sister Act 3.
