Kaalan Walker, Star of ‘superfly,’ Convicted of Rape and Sentenced to 50 Years to Life in Prison!
In light of his many rape convictions, actor Kaalan Walker, who has a credit in SuperFly, was given a sentence of 50 years to life in prison.
Three adolescent girls and four women made complaints against the 27-year-old rapper, and they all succeeded in getting him convicted. Walker was charged with “three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape by intoxication,” according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.
Walker was arrested on these allegations in 2018 but was able to post bond and avoid further legal trouble. The actor, who has been on television in the series In Contempt, used Instagram and Twitter to convince his victims that he knew influential people who might advance their careers as models.
Mr. Walker consistently engages in this pattern of false promises, and they fell for it. According to an NBC 4 story, defense attorney Andrew Flier claimed, “Each of these women deliberately made their own judgments.” That’s because he didn’t try to force them. That would be payback for Mr. Walker, and we can’t have that.
Walker co-starred opposite Halle Berry and Daniel Craig in the 2017 picture Kings.
