Black Adam is Coming to Fortnite on October 20

The Black Adam movie is about to come out, so Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Warner Bros. want everyone to know about it by announcing a partnership with Fortnite. Just one day before the movie comes out, on October 20 at 8 p.m. ET, a Black Adam skin and a few other Black Adam-themed items will fly into the Fortnite Item Shop.

Along with the skin, players will be able to grab Black Adam’s big mace and use it as a melee weapon. They will also be able to use an emote that makes the antihero sit on a broken stone throne and look menacing. Fortnite players with sharp eyes have noticed that the emote actually shows the silhouette of Jonesy instead of Black Adam. This seems to suggest that it may not be tied to the skin and could be available to all players.

Fans of Fortnite were quick to point out that this isn’t The Rock’s first time in the game. He first appeared in Chapter 3 Season 1 as the voice of a character called “The Foundation.” This is not only The Rock’s second time in Fortnite, but it also means that players can have an epic battle to see which version of The Rock is the best. Several reputable Fortnite leakers have said that a collaboration with Doctor Who is coming soon, which is another thing that might be coming to Fortnite soon. We don’t know for sure what skins or items will be in the crossover, but Epic has a lot of well-known designs to choose from.
